BWF World Championships 2019
uniqFEED was live at the BWF World Championships 2019 in Basel. During 7 production days and over 110 hours of live broadcasting on 2 courts, we successfully deployed our virtual technology in 127 Badminton matches at the event.
BWF’s sponsor 188BET.ASIA was restricted from the local Swiss broadcast, but by using virtual advertising technology, uniqFEED was able to provide worldwide exposure for 188BET.ASIA. uniqFEED virtually overlaid a static logo with new artwork and generated one virtual feed using camera signals from the main camera.
The BWF World Championships is one of the most prestigious tournaments in Badminton, standing alongside the Olympic Games in terms of the number of ranking points offered. The now annual tournament was first held in 1977 and rapidly grew to a top-flight global competition in the sport.
