The uniqFEED team was delighted to provide their software-based virtual advertising technology at the Swiss Tennis Securitas Pro Cup, which took place at the Swiss Tennis Arena in Biel/Bienne in July 2020.

On Saturday, July 25th, the event was broadcast live on RTS, SRF, and RSI, with various sponsors’ branding virtually replacing the existing advertising on the net, umpire’s chair, and back wall at the venue. The virtual content was rotated throughout the event, meaning that viewers watching the live broadcast at home were exposed to multiple sponsors’ branding throughout.

On Sunday, July 26th, the event was streamed live. Throughout each match, the branding of different sponsors was virtually placed onto the net and umpire’s chair and rotated every couple of minutes, additional advertising space was created behind the main back wall onto which virtual content was placed and rotated so that multiple brands could benefit from exposure on this prime sponsorship inventory.

The purpose of virtual advertising is to be unintrusive, therefore the virtual content was rotated when the live broadcast/stream cut away from the main camera so that viewers would not be disturbed by the changing content.
